Personal Information Collection Statement

This Personal Information Collection Statement (this “PICS”) is made by Joint Electronic Teller Services Limited whose registered office is at Rooms 503-508, 5/F, Rykadan Capital Tower, 135 Hoi Bun Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong (hereinafter referred to as “JETCO”, “we”, “our” or “us”, including its successors  and permitted assigns).

 

The provision of personal data requested on this site is mandatory. In the event you do not provide us with the requested personal data:

• APIX Sandbox: we will not be able to provide you with access or use of the Sandbox on APIX.

• APIX Live: we will not be able to process your application to proceed to live production as we and API providers on APIX require the personal data to review and determine your application.

 

1.       Purposes of Collection

Personal data provided in any form or document provided to us (online or manually) will be used by us for one or more of the following purposes:

 

APIX (Sandbox)

1.1.      to register a user account so that you can use the service;

1.2.      to communicate with you;

1.3.      to provide marketing materials to you (subject to your agreement);

1.4.      to compile aggregate statistics and data;

1.5.      to conduct analytics;

1.6.      when necessary, to transfer business(es)/asset(s) or changing service providers by merger, acquisition, consolidation, amalgamation or re-organisation;

1.7.      to investigate complaints, enquiries, and suspicious activities;

1.8.      to prevent and detect crime;

1.9.      to exercising our contractual rights; and

1.10.   to monitor and comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes or guidelines, standards, contracts, and internal procedures and policies.

 

APIX (Live)

1.1.      to review and determine your application to proceed to live production;

1.2.      to register a user account so that you can use the service;

1.3       to operate your account;

1.4       to apply for, view, process, maintain, retrieve, handle and cancel your application and/or the product(s)/service(s) applied for in your application;

1.5       to perform our service provided on this site;

1.6       to perform your instructions;

1.7       to conduct due diligence;

1.8       to calculate commissions/fees;

1.9       to communicate with you;

1.10     to provide marketing materials to you (subject to your agreement);

1.11     to compile aggregate statistics and data;

1.12     to conduct analytics;

1.13     when necessary, to transfer business(es)/asset(s) or changing service providers by merger, acquisition, consolidation, amalgamation or re-organisation;

1.14     to investigate complaints, enquiries, and suspicious activities;

1.15     to prevent and detect crime;

1.16     to exercising our contractual rights; and

1.17     to monitor and comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes or guidelines, standards, contracts, and internal procedures and policies.

 

2        Classes of Transferees

The personal data collected by us may be disclosed to:

 

APIX (Sandbox)

2.1        any of our affiliated or related companies relevant to the operation and/or maintenance of the site;

2.2       any law enforcement agencies and/or regulatory bodies for compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes, and/or guidelines;

2.3       any persons or entity to whom we or our affiliated or related companies are under a binding obligation to satisfy a legally enforceable demand for disclosure under the requirements of any law, rule, regulation, code and/or guideline and/or order of any competent court of law, law enforcement agencies and/or regulatory bodies; and

2.4       any actual or proposed assignee or purchaser of all or any part of our businesses and/or assets or business and/or assets of our affiliated or related companies.

 

APIX (Live)

2.1       any of our affiliated or related companies relevant to the operation and/or maintenance of the site;

2.2       any of API providers you have expressed an interest to acquire/obtain APIs;

2.3       any agents, service providers, vendors, contractors (including their respective sub-contractors), advisors (e.g. professional advisors), which provide administrative, courier, telecommunications, computer, anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing intelligence, data processing or other services to us or our affiliated or related companies;

2.4       any law enforcement agencies and/or regulatory bodies for compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes, and/or guidelines;

2.5       any persons or entity to whom we or our affiliated or related companies are under a binding obligation to satisfy a legally enforceable demand for disclosure under the requirements of any law, rule, regulation, code and/or guideline and/or order of any competent court of law, law enforcement agencies and/or regulatory bodies; and

2.6       any actual or proposed assignee or purchaser of all or any part of our businesses and/or assets or business and/or assets of our affiliated or related companies.
